Hello and welcome to the Run for a Reason Organization, a non-profit group dedicated to serving the community of Forsyth County since 2008. Every year, our organization is committed to promoting our Run for a Reason 5K Race, held in the Cumming City Park. This race is vital to the organization, as it is the primary means of raising money for the Run for a Reason Scholarship.
The Run for a Reason Scholarship is specific to students within the Forsyth County School System. Each year, via an application process, one graduating senior from each high school in Forsyth County will be chosen to receive the scholarship funds raised by our event. Every year, it is amazing to see how the community comes together to laugh, run, and enjoy the company of those who make such an opportunity for these students possible.
We at the Run for a Reason Organization are committed to promoting education beyond the high school level. Our goal is to help students understand the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and incorporating healthy habits in their everyday lives.
